      LOCAL  RULES

 

1.         OUT OF BOUNDS – Rule 27-1

  • As defined by white stakes/or adjoining white lines/perimeter fence.
  • Practice Driving Range to the left of the 2nd fairway.
  • Area beyond fencing on the left of the fairway no. 6 ( Azad Colony Village ) and fencing behind green.
  • Fenced boundary of the course along the left of 7th fairway, right of 10th, 11th,  and beyond green.
  • Perimeter fencing left of green no. 9 and continuing around the clubhouse white stakes/lines.
  • Fairway no. 10 – Left side along the hill (marked with white stakes/lines).
  • Fairway no. 12 – Right side along the bundh of river (marked with white stakes/lines).
  • Fairway no. 13 – Fencing behind green.
  • Fairway no. 14 – Right side area marked with white stakes/line.
  • Fairway no. 15 – Right side retaining wall & colony fencing behind green no. 15.
  • Fairway no. 18 – Left side village boundary wall and white stakes all along the right side of he fairway including practice green, chipping green and right edge of water body.
  • Fenced road/passage beyond green no. 10, 16 & tee no. 18 (Note : - If a ball comes to rest on another part of the course, it will deemed to be Out of Bound)

 

NOTE 1 : Where both white stakes and lines are present, the white lines will define the exact margin of Out of Bound.

NOTE 2 : Where white stones are present within the course boundary, they are neither Out of Bound markers  nor an area marked in white and defined as GUR.

 

2.        WATER HAZARDS – Rule 26

 

·        Water Hazards are defined by yellow stakes and / or yellow lines.

·        All bridges / walkways are within the hazards.

 

3.        LATERAL WATER HAZARDS – Rule 26

 

  • Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red stakes and / or red lines.
  • All bridges / walkways are within the hazards.

 

NOTE 1 : Where both stakes and lines are present the line will define the margin.

NOTE 2 : The margin of the hazard will be the inner side (water side)

 
 

4.        OBSTRUCTIONS – Rule 24

 

            Rule 24-1-Movable Obstructions

  • Lightweight advertising signages / display panels and all advertising boards except those on the teeing ground.

 

Rule 24-2 – Immovable Obstructions

  • All benches, screens, tubewell, pumps, hydrants, sprinkler heads, water pipe connector, tree guards, exposed pipes, paved roads, concrete steps, drainage covers, irrigation units shelters, midway huts, advertising boards and yardages markers on the teeing ground.

 

5.        INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE COURSE-NO RELIEF

 

  • The chain link fences behind green 10 and in front of the Tee no. 16 & 18 (pathways for village)

 

6.        GROUND UNDER REPAIR-PLAY OPTIONAL

 

  • All area marked in white.
  • All saplings containing supports or painted in white
  • All uncovered pits with or without saplings.
  • No relief will be provided for tree basins.
  • Relief for stance or swing will be denied from other abnormal ground conditions (deep vehicle ruts, deep tyre treads, burrowing animal holes or casts thereof).

 

7.        DESIGNATED AREA

 

  • The practice putting and chipping green – Right fairway 18
  • Practice Driving Range – Left of 2nd fairway.

 

BREACH OF LOCAL RULES – 2 STROKES PENALTY

 

Yardage to the front edge are indicated on the fairways.

Yardage on the scorecard/Tee – is from middle of the green to middle of the Tee.
